Utilizing a 3ft UVC (254nm) T5 tube, this fixture is highly effective in reducing certain bacteria commonly found in hospitals, with a third-party test indicating a remarkable 99.99% kill rate against MRSA bacteria in just 10 minutes. To ensure UVC safety, the fixture incorporates multiple mechanisms, including a countdown timer, flashing warning light, siren alarm, and a motion detector that suspends UVC lighting upon detection of movement. Beyond its disinfection capabilities, the fixture provides blue-enriched light to stimulate biological activity during the day and blue-depleted light to promote relaxation at night.
